Don't mock me if I'm blue
I come from the blue factory
You know that blue factory
it has laptops
instead of sewing machines
it has printers, desks and tears.
I know the blue factory,
Full of people just as blue.
Dreams rise like vapour in the air,
Fingers move quickly on the keyboard.
I hear the voices of the blue people,
I hear them laugh as years go by,
I see them age and witter,
drown in the lap top sewing machine.
They don't respect the blue people
Tell them jokes, make them laugh,
Keep them calm and cool and blue.
Set a goal for the blue people,
Leave a carrot over the table
Eat the meat, the fish, the shrimp,
Leave the carrot over the blue desk.
And watch it turn blue,
As the blue people try to reach for it.
